Our heritage

To build brands with legacy, we first have to be a business focused on heritage ourselves.

Impactful brands have meaning and tell a story that stands the test of time. To live up the expectation of our clients to deliver work that reflects those values, we spent half a year developing our brand identity based on the core principle our clients love most – legacy.

Named after the village of the same name in rural Northamptonshire, Overstone takes it’s brand logo and story from Pytchley Gate, a notable Grade II listed monument and a testament to the heritage of the area.

Living for over 25 years in close proximity to this icon since 5 years old, Rich developed the brand identity as a personal tribute to the village and incorporated Pytchley Gate as the masthead of the Overstone brand.

Architectural style points and detail from this incredible example of stonemasonry have been referenced and weaved into the brand to create an monument for what we love to create for clients – a brand with true heritage that tells a real story you can fall in love with.

What Pytchley Gate stands for is an immovable icon that carries with it the entire weight of the village that surrounds it. That’s the type of symbolism we obsess over when crafting work for our clients.

Our passion for crafting brands that do not need to be replaced in several years, but can exist as a true  testament to the ethos and goals of your Property business is at the heart of everything we do as a company.
